Australia’s Most Expensive Car

Australia’s most expensive new car is here and it is worth nearly five times the price of the average family home.
That’s right $1.5million will get you this car and Adam Kaplan is the only person in Australia to own a Pagani Zonda roadster.
“It is one of only 80 in the world at the moment,” Adam said.
“The total production run will only be 100 cars so if you buy one of these, you know you will be one of only 100 lucky people.”
The Zonda is sure to be the most sought after little run about for Australia’s very rich and famous.
As far as cars go it is probably a good investment, meaning the saying ‘you have to have money to make money’ has never been more accurate.
Latest sales statistics show over 1 million of us are losing a record amount in depreciation when we buy a new car, particularly when it comes to larger family sedans such as Falcons and Commodores.
That means a new Falcon BA XT sedan sold for $34,780 dollars in 2004 is now only worth $13,300, the VY Commodore Executive series two, which was worth nearly $33,000 brand new, only has a trade-in value of $14,500, losing around $115 every week.
Today as soon as you register a vehicle and drive it around the block you effectively lose between 20 and 22 percent of its recommended retail price.
The need for the traditional family car has changed and they are buying more life choices cars like small cars which are also growing bigger and bigger or they are buying small SUVs, compact SUVs to suit their lifestyle choices.
Unfortunately, that rule doesn’t apply to limited editions like the Zonda which is set to soar in price.
